I've got a high level blue flame can and oxford sports panniers.
I've posted a wanted ad for a low level link pipe so I can keep the can on and still carry all my stuff to Le Mans for the bike race. However, if no-one has one can anybody think of a way to get the panniers to fit so that they don't go up in flames by sitting on the can? Is there anything I can wrap the can in to protect the panniers? Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks, Rhys |

This was the reason I went for the 'humpback' panniers as they are smaller and sit above a high level can (on my curvy).
any chance you can exchange at the shop? |

I have a Scorp high level and use Oxford sports panniers with no trouble at all the only thing I melted was one of the rain covers when it filled with water on a long journey in the ****ing rain.
