Default Carbon Fiber Exhaust

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here and I am hoping I can get some advice. I am looking to put carbon fiber exhaust on my bike (Yellow 2004 v650s). Without breaking my bank account I plan on a slip on, not a complete setup. I have two questions: 1) If I order a slip on, how do I go about getting a high mounted exhaust? I dont like the position of the stock one and dont want a new pipe in the same place. 2) Any advice on what exhaust to get? As of now I am looking at Yoshimura Rs-3 or TRS. Thanks for the help.

PS If anyone has advice on stainless steel, or titanium exhaust I am open to that too, and any pics you have to post would be great so I can compare. Thanks a ton.

Hello!

When you buy the slipon, it is usually supplied with a link pipe, as you have to cut the original. Many (but not all) manufacturers gives you the option to choose from high or low level linkpipes.
Note that you usually have to remove or move out the right pillion footrest to make room for the high level exhaust. It is also possible that stock indicators will be in the way and have to be moved.
Hope my english is possible to understand...

Good luck!
