Snow Patrol - Open Your Eyes - video

anyone seen the video for Snow Patrol's "Open Your Eyes"? if you haven't seen it, it's on youtube

I was intrigued how it was made - the old french cars, running through red lights, getting flashed by oncoming cars

it seems that there's a bit of a story to it. you can also see the original, with the ferrari soundtrack - along with a moving google map of thru route through paris - here

Great song - brilliant video. Reminded me of ghostrider(?)'s vids 'cept the police weren't chasing him.
Makes you wanna go over there to ride at dawn .....

The film was made in the 70's apparently, the music has been laid on top of the original sound-track (a Ferrari V12 )

It was featured on the Comic Relief 'Top Gear of the Pops' special

Brilliant video. Heard the song before and it didn't click that it was Snow Patrol. Might get their album cos their single 'Chasing Cars' was great as well.

Ah this film is awesome, it inspired all the other films in the genre (dark prince, ghostrider, getaway in stockholm etc). I have the original on DVD, but I have to say the original soundtrack is better.....roaring Ferrari engine!! Allegedly it was being driven by a well known F1 driver of the era but was never confirmed.
