Bishops Court & Kirkistown

Remember there is bike bike racing at Bishops Court on the 7th and Kirkistown on Easter Monday the 9th.

Will be at Kirkistown on Monday - as long as the weather is half decent. (Half decent for Kirkistown that is!)

might get to kirkistown on monday but might have to do the daddy thing with kids

Yvo - you were going well at kirky well beating those 400's in the first race- well done. looked round the pits but only saw a couple of sv's the paddock was packed!

A prob developed in the gear box, the bike was jumping out of gear and at times getting false neurtal - not a nice feeling. I am told it is prob a spring in the gear selector or summit, but i was a bit cautious in the second race cause i didnt want to strip a gear or whatever - my excuse anyway. Still i was enjoying tailing around behind Cargo until the last lap when a change of line at Fishermans proved a white knuckle ride.

It was a great day at Kirkistown with superb racing all day. With 16 races the public had plenty of racing which is good. It is tough going to get through it all.

Next outing is at Cookstown - i have entered in the 400 Support race, so will be doing practice on Friday night. Fingers crossed for that one, mistakes there really hurt!

Nothing for me after that until the end of May when the next ISB is at Mondello. The international circuit is my favourite track.

Pity you didnt find me to stop for a bit of craic. I was parked near the control tower, just opposite William Dunlops team. Never mind - be sure and say Hello next time you are about.

I will be around the paddock at the Clubmans on May day at Bishopscourt but there are no classes for the SV.
