Who are you guys with? Other than the AA?
Moving from the AA as they're being muppets with processing my details. Just had a look at Green Flag & they don't appear to do bikes. Tried the RAC & they wanted to set up an annual direct debit from my account - which I find rather cheeky: I'll decide come renewal time if I want to renew - I don't need/want it automated. Who do you use? |

I use Swinton Breakdown - it was thrown in with my insurance policy.

Green flag were brilliant when our mate binned his Gixer in Cornwall last year. Recovered the bike and provided him with a hire car to get home.

Have a look at NCI, they are geared up for bikes and are pretty reasonable too. Have used them a couple of times and they have been good.

At the end of the day, you don't have to set up the direct debit. If your going to pay annually just tell them that you do not wish to set up direct debit and will renew as and when you decide. Simple really. AA cover the person and not the vehicle which is very good. But you do need to have a specific vehicle listed for cover of parts and things. They will only cover one specific vehicle which is fair enough. I have had two consecutive bad experiences with RAC and wouldn't go near them again, but that's just me. |
