Default Dog Bones

Guys... do the dog bones better the leg room between the bend o yer knee an the footrest.?? as am 6`5" an ave only rode ma brand new K6 naked fur one day an ma legs have got se at ica up an downthem... a feel a sore back commin on.... a need more room.. hence the post that a added about maybe doctoring the seat if a can have it reupholstered thicker to nearly the same height as the pillion seat.... has anyone done this.???? As Rob says. I did this on my GSXR750K2 and it worked fine for commuting...and then i just turned them for trackdays when i needed the ground clearance!

i'm 6'2" and just nailed the front of my boots today on roundabouts. lower footpegs sounds good! i just couldn't keep my feet flat on the pegs! anyone else my height had this problemo?

I think I would if I didn't go round roundabouts upright. Dunno if it's my height (only 6'1") but mate keeps telling me my toes point out and that I'm in danger of clipping my toes. On the otherhand it could the be the fact I don't like tucking them right in against the bike.

yeah, my boots are a bit ruined at the toes now from clipping them. It just feels uncomfortable having them tucked in so much! i'd be bound to press the rear brake or knock my self down a gear!
