Not very happy at the moment.
Riding back from Red Marley last week, stopped at traffic lights near to home, put my foot down and felt something "give" in my left knee. I thought I was going to drop the bike. Rested it for a few days and it seemed fine. Yesterday I was observing on the Northen Bike Trial. My section had a dirty great tree in the middle of it so I had to keep clambering up and down the bank to see the riders all the way through the section. Was in agony after about 5 minutes. And for no apperant reason my right knee seems to have come out in sympathy this morning. The air conditioning in my new office still doesn't work. 27.2 C at the moment (10:40) so I think we might break 30 by the end of the day. Plus the windows don't open and we can't have the door open because we are in a secure area. People start displaying signs of mild CO2 poisoning by the end of the day. The time accounting system in this company is so ludicrous that I can't do any work because I'm not allowed to book more than 23 seconds per week to any of the contracts I'm supposed to support. Plus none of the security doors work properly and the toilets dont flush. Sorry, needed to have rant. ![]() |

When I pull up at lights I have to leave a massive gap to the vehicle in front and creep forward at 1mph to avoid putting my foot down. I am getting really good at balancing the bike, I might have another go at riding trials as a result ![]() |

Have you had it checked out ? get one of the velcro support things (do them at boots) for the short term, not much good to me, but do give a little help.
Hey it's still better than knowing you knees knackered, at least you don't have to ride a scoot ![]()

You may be showing early signs of ligament trouble, or it may be a touch of bursitis (had any past impact trauma to your knee or do you spend much time on you knees?)
Then again you could just be getting old and suffering the first touches of arthritis. ![]() Get yourself a neoprene brace for the short-term as Rictus says then pop on down to the GP. Knees are third only to backs and male genitalia for poor design, so it's worth getting checked out. As for loos not flushing - have a really good curry and then take the day off on health and safety grounds. Cite your safety or your co-workers, i don't think it'll matter either way. ![]() |

Get yourself checked out mate, I have problems with my Knee's thanks to a car accident years ago when I broke my legs.
Its better to be safe than sorry, likley you twisted it by accident. Get yourself one of those support bandages and two very young and buxom blondes to rub oil into your knee's in the everning! ![]() ![]() ![]() As for the work conditions get on to health and safty mate, that's taking the mick, I am in the server room with a lovely 19.4C at the moment. ![]() Cheers Rich |

Cheer up? Er...oo, have a look at the thread with the building foundations that flooded. You can't be having a worse time than the chap who's getting the rap for that!
Or! Listen to the proclaimers "500 miles" song (i know thats not the real title). That makes me feel better. Or I can record me playing it, its incredibly funny to see me atempt to sing AND play guitar at the same time. Its worse than just my singing alone (although I'm ok at guitar) Or!!! Have some ice cream Or!!!!!!! Have some cake. Matt |

At m,y uni, the nicest place to be on a hot day is the tempurature controlled NMR instrument room, its always lovely and cool in there, although its no place for those wearing pacemakers. They'll have to sweat it out Matt |
