on ebay you can buy a G-PACK ou TRE (timing retard eliminator) has any one fitted one of these to there pointy sv's and is it worth it (£40 ish inc p&p)
am only looking at them as cant afford a power commander at the mo ![]() are these just cheap nacker your bike items or do they work ???? |

Can do this for free - do a search - it involves pulling out 2 wires from beneath the tail unit.

I wouldnt touch one with a barge pole!. Even racing an SV where every ounce of extra HP counts...i wouldnt put one on the bike!
Just leave it as is. |

I have put one on my bike and it doesn't make a ****e of difference.

Mate of mine has one, it fits in the wiring loom between the gear position switch and ignitor - unless it works by ESP then it's just the same as the TRE mod. This is nothing like a power commander, and you might not even notice the difference anyway.
