Looks like another interesting week then...

So I'm on the A3 between Tolworth and Hook, on the way to Weybridge to work. Get into the middle lane. Nice. Looking for a space to move right again when I realise that someones come up the inside of me and is busy changing lanes- RIGHT AT ME AND MY BIKE!!! And he's looking where he's going too.

So I slow and let him out (safest thing to do) and give him some horn and an agressive gesture (you know the one- imitating self abuse). And he chucks his brakes right in front of me- I've just got enough space to slow down too. Now I know I shouldn't have reacted, but sometimes, you need to make a clear statement that someone is being a complete d*ck. It's not that he made a mistake and didn't see me- it was clearly a "I'm coming and you're going to get out of my way 'cos you don't want to get hurt".

There's nowt that makes my blood boil more than sheer arrogance. Resisiting the tempation to kick his mirror off, I just pass the bloke shaking my head in the most condescending way possible.

Gave me a nice surge of adrenaline for the rest of the journey though!

I would have reported him for dangerous driving. Fair enough he made a mistake but to deliberately slam on the anchors is way out of line. don't know how you kept your cool mate so well done!
