Default Fuel Exhausts & Dealer Warranty?

My missus has just bought another expensive handbag, so i said i was buying an exhaust and she said fine.......so obviously now I'am seriously comtemplating purchasing a Stainless Fuel Exhaust (.

My question has anyone found out whether or not it will effect the dealer warranty replacing parts like that?

I have my 600 mile service on saturday so will probably ask the question to them, but if anyone else has asked previously it would be good to know.

My next question is what shape to go for A) Round? b) Oval? Pictures with them on pointy SV's would help.

I'am most tempted by the round to keep the standardish look but still benefit from the sound.

Thanks in advance

p.s if anyone is skilled in the art of fitting these and lives in the midlands (off junction 27 of the M1) and would fancy helping me fit it to a high standard it would be most appreciated.

STOP!!!! She said FINE, don't you know what that means!! God man, you're playing with fire!! Fine roughly translates to "Go ahead, do what you want, but there WILL be consequences"

Not sure about warranty, but get an oval one, round ones look pants.

I'm with rigor, she only said fine!! It will only end in tears.

I'd get the oval one as well.

HAHA at her only saying fine, i have been saying iam going to since i bought the bike and she has generally been ok with me wanting to spend more money.

The only decisions I cant make, which would infact risk my life are ones that involve the house.

The oval does look good now i have seen one on like that.

Ist that the size of the bolt that holds the baffle in rather large.....guess the baffle would have to come out

Listen to the man, he knows what he's saying. His wife-to-be just scuppered plans of everyone attending his wedding, which she at first agreed to!!

Oval. I would should you a picture, but mines an oval scorpion, not fuel.

HTH.

After the service then if iam feeling flush it looks like it will be the oval.

The silver and the Blue pointy Sv's in the forsale section has pretty much convinced me.

I noted one had the sticker removed is this something tha can be done with a hair dryer and some water or do you have to request it when purchasing it?

if you are talking about the fuel cans, i think only the budget one comes without a badge, the standard can comes with a badge rivetted on so probably not removable with a hairdryer!!!
