pair of trainers thrown over a phone cable ?
seen this latley?
i though that some poor kid had just got his trainers nicked, & his mates thought it would be a laugh to sling them up on the telephone cable so he could not get to them. but aparantly there is a meaning behind this |

Well when my kids were teenagers (only a couple of years ago) this was something they used to do at the end of school. When the 5th formers left officially at end of May (like now) this was one of the things thay did to 'celebrate'. They did this in both York and Ruthin.
IIRC they go back to do thier exams than all meet for a final day in school signing each other's shirts etc. Then later on have a major party.

it can mean a number of different things.
Depends on wher you are. Most common Gang code: Territory/boundary markings. |
