Mike had an off today on the wales rideout-

he is fine

broken leg we fear.!!

air ambulance etc.. but went in normal ambulance in the end..

Mike is an expert rider and a great guy.. he and Liisaa and Pete and a couple of others were in the leading group I was behind with some of the not so speedy (but safe) folk..
and we came around a very sharp corner thinking something was up because of the traffic build up and saw what no biker wants to see.

Mikes Bike on the ground and Mike prone in the verge and very pale...- he had crawled there from the road apparently.

I wasnt there at time of his off - so wont comment- Lissaa and pete and others were.

suffice to say there was gravel on the road and a farmer said there had been diesel there the day before-

he was chatty and Ok.. and dam lucky no cars or lorries comin the other way



it really shook me up I can tell you.

but we think a definite broken leg and broken bike..

I may be wrong but concensus of opinion was broken leg or ankle..

bike-- pushed fine to the nearby farm so not mangled etc..

of course gear lever and clutch and inicator too are FUBAR and the left can- he has twin ones on..




but the bobbies- (wales) .. were starting to look at all our bikes and cans and plates etc.. even comments to baph.. but in the end they were fine and said we could all move on..,,

it could have been worse.

Hope it's all straigtforward and he mends fast and properly.

Oh I meant at the top that I wa sin the not so speedy group and the "but safe" bit means the speedy guys n gals are safe.. so as not to say it was speed that caused the accident--

just re read it and thght it could be mis interpreted..,



if there was one guy I would never have thought would come off on a corner it would be Mike.. Ed can probably confirm and baph.. he rides on rails

until its all sorted insurance wise best no comment is made on the reasoning I expect until Mike can come onhere himself.

he was limping supported/carried to the ambulance..

I am sure they will check he out for internal doo da etc..
and he works from home doesnt he - so he can prob carry on workin and be on here too..
