Noob alert!

Hi all, just joined as I am possibly thinking of getting an SV650S when I pass my DAS. Sat on one today and as I am short it was quite comfy. Pointers to reasons for getting one are most welcome.

Currently on a black Honda CBR125R so if you see me around (J27) and can point out mistakes please feel free to let me know about them!

Curently looking at VFR 750 and Speed Four as other contenders. Was looking at Speed Triple but got sensible

Well not actually on the junction island as that would be a tad 'pikey' but in that area.

Hi Ace-T,

the SV will do you fine. Good power delivery, comfy ride, light weight and easy to handle. Not too bad to do your own basic maint as well if you're half way handy with spanners and such. Plenty out there to pick from as well so you get lots of choice. The others are good choices but decide what you want to do and what you're going to use the bike for most of the time, don't buy race reps for commuting through town or you'll look like a monkey with a hernia round the office all day would be my advice.
