Default Double bubble just bought and fitted ...

from a company called Racescreens I found on ebay. £32.99 plus 3 quid P & P. Ordered Saturday night and it arrived this morning (Bank Holiday Weekend too), fits perfectly, will be giving her a whirl on the motorway this week ... I couldnt be arsed putting all my bike gear on to test it out!?!

Anyway, wife starts raising eyebrows ... I says it was either that or a Fireblade. Think she's happier now.

So now I have tank bag, braided Goodridge lines (front only), double-bubble ... Crikey I'll be getting one of those noisy cans next!?

Oh and mine is curvey and Black (THE BEST COLOUR)

Tony

I had to have a similar conversation too. Only in my case the DB was an aerodynamic mod that improved fuel efficiency, therefore saving money in the long run.

Hee hee. Pete's the one who's always trying to stop ME spending money on the bike
My argument is, I'm on the bike as much as he is, so I also benefit from anything I buy

DB is a good mod, makes riding faster more comfortable.

Good point Baph. Will do Luckypants, has rubber trim as well and is a light black tint.

Yes, note to self, must clean bike and take pics for website. You've seen em all before, Black, Curvey, W reg, standard can. But close up of screen might be of use to others who are thinking of ordering.

Tony

PS I am thinking of getting a VFR800 next, but that will be a while. I will ALWAYS keep my SV, as its not worth selling at book price.

Haven't seen a DB form Racescreens yet, if you are bored or have too much time you can always add your DB experience to this thread: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=90219

Which was negated by you riding faster on the way to and from work

Firstly, I'm in the same postion with selling ym SV - it wont ever happen. Its worth too much to me (and my R1 / tuono / RC30 ISNT having a top box!).

Secondly...if you get a VFR800, you MUST fit loud exhausts. A V4 engine on full throttle accelarating away tick-over to red-line its the most glorious sound ever. Fact.

Got a DB recently, really helps the head from doin a dance.

Just bough a (Carbon Can Company) can off the bay £99 plus £7.50 fitted in 3/4 hour before the trouble-n-strife even got home she'll never know I'll just coast in half way up the street and up the drive.

Mines a blue curvy.... but at least it is a curvy
