Smile Introductions

Hi thought i'd introduce myself! I'm Andy and have been on here a while and really like the site. Picked up my sv yesterday and love it. It's my first bike after passing my DAS.

I work in a university as a systems engineer, so do operation work as well as developing, project work too. (lots of IT bods here by the looks of it!)

currently just getting some confidence with the bike. I bought it from george whites in swindon and come back on the m4 following my girlfriend. Was slightly nervy but was ok after a while. The sound is awesome, even with the stock exhaust! Looking to get rid of the snow shovel soon, (any recommendations?) and a nice new plate without the george white text at the bottom!

My choice of SV was mainly down to this site and the knowledgable people on it and it was the right choice. Nearly picked an er6f but didn't like the upright position.

Commuting to work takes longer now, as i tend to take longer routes to play on my baby!

Everyone have a good day, friday tomorrow

cheers,

Andy

Welcome! Was in swindon's george white's a few weeks back - which SV did you go for? Not the blue one with red rim tape?

Second thoughts, probably wise to steer clear of the whole colour debate... Someone always comes along and tries to claim yellow ones go fastest or some such tosh

Welcome to the madhouse (even though you've been here a while).

I'd say evotech with a 7x5 plate would do you nicely.

It's a blue/torquoise k6 sport brand new. I love it! Especially the engine breaking, engine sounds fantastic when it does it. (still in honeymoon period )

Welcome aboard. I got my SV in the 'Swine Town' George Whites too. Did you have fun on the roundabouts there?
