Default seat cowl

i got a seat cowl for my curvy SV (don't use it) it seem that when i put it on it sits nice on one side with a respectively 1-2mm gap but on the other side its about a 4mm gap. when you look down the under side of it you can see that the 2 prong thingys that go into the latch arnt aline with the mold (i.e. one sits higher than the other). is this common with the seat cowls or just a balls up on my one.
