If anyone's considering one. £99 on eBay recommended
![]() If you're considering a textile jacket you could easily be paying £100. I reckon the concept would provide valuable additional protection without too much additional discomfort or hassle. The Jacket itself looks good quality with CE armour for shoulders & elbows, 100% guaranteed waterproof (membrane layer), removable thermal lining, usual pockets. Looks OK, but big SAS* emblem on the back is a bit.... ![]() Replacement CO2 cylinders should be available (they are slightly larger than ones for a puncture repair kit) and so the jacket should be reusable if not damaged (unlike car air bags). Labels say they jacket is required to be returned for servicing annually ![]() Now I'm torn between which is better leathers, or this in textile? Might try to rip out the airbag & try to install it in my leathers. For £100 it's almost worth the risk (should be no risk as there's zipped access to the airbag). *Shock Absorption System |
