Default So, roughly one year ago, I looked at the AR thread...

And thought "Maybe I could make it to that, it's a whole week away after all". It is not too late to get your act together If you're on the fence, get off, or you'll end up stuck there. It will be great, and it is not too far. Unless you're Zunkus, or RandyO.

That is all

I've just made the jump! Looking forward to a good weekend away - nice roads, cold brews and some likeminded banter....

Hey, you don't have to This one's aimed at people who're dithering, it's too easy to dither till its too late. And to people who want to make it but think it's too far, or they can't manage all the stuff on the bike. There's loads of good reasons for people not to go, so it's a shame for people to miss out because of bad ones.

I'm a little concerned about strapping so much stuff to the bike, but only because I haven't done so in the past.

I'm actually intending to get a sticker for the back of the bike (if I get the time to call off at the shop) "If you get any closer you can kiss my a##e!" (The sign isn't censored, hopefully the AR won't be U-rated as well as the forum )
