How much does your side stand move when you put the bike onto it? Mine seems to move a lot more than any other bike I've seen but it doesn't look loose or anything.

SV stands often splay out a bit at the top, so they can get loose. Mine was like that till I got the GSXR one. Very very rare for them to break though.
