you don't need a p/c!! some tuning places can map direct to the ecu its cheaper!!!

Yeah I know, but if you live in York in NORTH Yorkshire places to do it are like hens teeth.
Its is suprising hard round here to get an ECU remap. Everywhere insists on a PC or gives the impression they don't normally do it and it could be a problem etc etc. ANYONE RECOMMEND ANYONE WITHIN 50 MILES OF YORK. PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE EEE!!!! |

okay i'll accept this is a silly thing to contemplate but hear me out.
Steve jordan motorcycles is 230miles from york. so a round trip is 5 tanks of petrol at £15 a time totalling £75 plus a further £100 for a remap direct to your ECU. Accounting for nibbles tea and coffee etc your looking at £200 and a day out on the bike. Then you could go the other route. £250 on a PC3 followed by £100 for the custom map and probably another tank and half of petrol seen as you rekon nowhere close has a dyno. So thats £372.50. Not to mention the fact you have a peice of **** PC3 thats a ticking time bomb before it goes wrong. Like is said a stupid idea but probably something worth thinking abnout |
