Hair dryer or heat gun if you've got one.
Warm the sticker, pick a corner up and blow the heat under the sticker while peeling it off slowly. WD-40 should clean off any residue left on the paintwork. |

My experience is don't bother. The mess you will be left with is a nightmare. See my previous thread on the topic.

I've done this a few times now using a hair drier and yes a bit of sticky residue gets left behind but as andyaikido has said WD-40 will get that off

I peeled off the translucent top layer and then I rubbed the sticker with a bit of cloth I had soaked in petrol. After a few minutes the petrol made the sticker go soft and I was able to peel it off.
When I had got it off I wiped the area over with petrol again and then with WD40 cleaned it up nicely.

When I de-stickered my bike, the ones that came off most easily were after I had left my (black) bike parked in the sun on the drive after a ride for an hour or so (so it was quite nicely warmed up). I just picked at the corner with my fingernail and managed to get the edge up. Then I peeled it off and the whole thing came away in one go. This only worked on 2 of the stickers mind, on the other ones, I only pulled the top layer away and ended up having to use 'goo remover' (cleaning product) to get the rest off.
