Exclamation More cosmetic mods advice

so i eventually decided from the advice on here to hold out on the tank for now and eagle eye ebay for it, however i have recently come across the powerbronze website (big mistake says the money saving reasonable side of my brain) but i have never used there products and dont really know what there products are like are they worth it?
Im looking @ :

1. JET BLACK STANDARD SCREEN
2. CARBON LOOK REAR HUGGER
3. BLACK MESH (for the fairing gaps)
4. SEAT COWEL
5. JET BLACK HEADLIGHT COVERS FOR TRACK DAYS

Now the only thing i cant seem to get hold of is a tail tidy, where did you folks get yours how did you fit it? does anyone want to make some cash to do it for me lol,

+1 for Hamicad tail tidy

As for the seat cowl, forget the Powerbronze one, and get the official Suzuki one, much nicer IMHO, and at £42, cheaper too

While the topic is up for discussion, and sorry to derail the thread a little here, but I've had my bike for a few years now, and had a datatool fitted with the original snow shovel on. I've just edited a photo from the hamicad site to illustrate my point:

Where I've ringed I believe to be a receiver for the datatool alarm, am I right in thinking this? I have that attached to my snow shovel so my question was...can I remove my snow shovel and fit the tail tidy currently sitting in my garage without having to call out a datatool engineer to deal with the alarm. I am not very electrically minded and don't want to immobilise my bike accidentally. If anyone could tell me step-by-step how to do this I'd owe you one

EDIT: sorry for the double piccy included, first time I've tried to put one in the post itself and I obviously haven't done it quite right.

Can you take a pic lookup up at the object from just behind the rear wheel?

What makes you think it's a datatool receiver? Since these alarms work by RF, you'd never need a direct line of sight to the receiver, and usually because of this (and security), the receiver is built into the alarm, and hidden down inside the bike.

I think what you've ringed is nothing more than the number plate light. A clearer pic of the underneath will help clarify.

Aha, you are right and I'm a dozy b*stard. However, something that does seem to me to be to do with the alarm, again not sure if it's there on all SVs, it a little LED light a bit further up the snow shovel, under the rear lights if you follow my meaning. It blinks red periodically...to me that signals alarm based, but again am I wrong?

Hope so because I'll break out the tools and fit the tidy if so.

That flashing red light is to do with the alarm. It's saying that the alarm is armed. An unusual place to hide it, but there you go.

Would you like the good news or the bad news?

The good news, is that you should be able to remove that LED from the rear of the bike, whilst leaving it wired up, and so not affect the alarm. Then put it in the rear end when you're done with the tail tidy.

The bad news? If that pic above is of your bike, it already has a tail tidy on it That's no snow shovel there!
