Default usd forks and gsxr750 yokes

got to the point where the front end is kinda the last thing to do on my list. i know i need the gsxr srad 750 yokes to fit, but my question is am i right in saying that most usd forks are the same diameter? basicly i want to fit some yam r1 forks on, so would they fit the 750 yoke?? i know that the more prestigious forks, (ohlins and marzocchi) are larger diameter, but i am unsure about the standard forks on other bikes. any one help please.

cheers

This is where the search function ignoring words with 3 letters or less is a b*tch!
Been discussed before but can't help you find it.
Think they fit, but everyone just uses Gixxer. If you put up an interesting reason why you want R1, I'm sure someone will help you.

main reason i want the r1 front end is for the brakes. petty i know but i really like the brakes with the star piston covers, and i want them in gold as well. black bike, black brake with gold inserts...cooool. plus i also have a r1 rear end so will kinda go quite well.

They're very good brakes, those. As long as the diameters are the same or similiar, it's doable, but you also get complications with axles, disc spacing, etc etc. Mine is a complete mishmash, SRAD and K3 GSXR with a Fireblade wheel and SP2 discs, it's all good
