Default Bike stops!

I have a 2006 model SV650s thats driven ~7500km.
Today it stopped after 30m! Started, let it warmed a bit, and slowly drove down the driveway. When I entered the road, and shifted to 2nd, it died on me!
This has happened one time before, right after the 6000km service!

Both times I've started driving before the temperature was given, but very slowly. And I always let it warm a little minute before I realease the clutch...

Do you think there's a big problem, or shall I just let it warm up a bit longer first?

Edit: Sorry for bad vocabulary.. Tired, and my english sucks.

I found with my SV, that if it was cold and with the idle speed set to low it would stall like that when changing gear.

Maybe increase your idle speed a little and see if that helps ?

Does it start OK after its cut out or is it a struggle to get it running again ?

my 650 did this to me twice before for no reason? just died? wouldnt idle? i just had to hold the revs on to keep it running? i just put it down to a glitch in the FI.

Thanks for your replies!

It's not cold outside, and it starts right away after.
It idles ok, even when cold (ok, haven't had it through the winter yet, but still..).

I guess I could check the sidestandswitch!

Maybe the clutch switch too? Mine's given me a little gyp from time to time- all this british wetness (if you're a UK'er) probably doesn't help - mine's had a spray of silicone lube to keep the wet out
