is beginning to pi$$ me off!

There is no need to end an episode with Hiro saying to the Dr bloke on hte tube, "I've got something to tell you" then cut to, TO BE CONTINUED.

This is going to turn into Lost, where every week we get no resolution but more & more questions.

Lost annoyed me because:

a) You had to watch every episode otherwise you missed out on another part of the riddle coming to light. Personally, I occasionally, okay very occasionally, have a social life & can't guarantee to commit half a year to watching a programme.

b) Having borrowed a copy of Lost series 1, I sat down & watched it. I was looking forward to the end of the series, having had it all explained to me about where/when they were/what the island was. And what happened? Another cliffhanger ending. I no longer care about Lost. I feel cheated by the programme makers.

I want resolution. Occasionally give me an answer. Don't attempt to keep me in suspense as I'll get bored & watch Bad Boys on Channel 5 instead.

Is there going to be a Heroes series 2?

Has Lost finally been found?

Do I even care any more?

I'm up to episode 21 of 23, and I have to tell you it does that every single time.

Apparently Heroes has been taken up for a second series - and yes, you do get some answers and some resolutions, but also a couple of new questions come to light as well.

the 4 on bbc 2!

It's not that I want to be spoon fed the story line in nice, neat 45 minute packages (I'd watch Murder, She Wrote for that ;o) ) but I don't want to see something unnecessarily long & drawn out either!

Occasionally I like plot resolution & I see the trend in decent US drama now it to draw things out as long as possible under the illusion that it makes something high-brow. (I'm not saying Heroes isn't high-brow btw..!)

No they really did drag Lost out for so long I lost interest. Purely to make more money and keep up viewer ratings for months when they could have told the whole stroy in about 5 episodes.

Lost is beginning to do my nut in too. They're up to and finished season 3 (re-showing this on Sky at mo). But no, still not really any answers, I think I read they have enough material for five or six series

Ok, end of season 3 (in white text, highlight if you want spoiler, don't if you don't):
They kinda do what they need to get rescued and this time we have a flash forward instead of a flash back, with the Doc meeting Kate, in a real bad way saying "we shouldn't have left, bad things gonna happen, we need to go back".

Well you're posting this so, yes, you probably do, (but essentially I'd say you pretty much answered your own question there).

* Of course telly can be excellent, but Lost, Heroes, Bad Boys FFS? Be serious. It's not even as good as chewing gum for the eyes.
