In need of a BIG favour...

This coming Sunday is Ladies day at the Ace Cafe in London.....and I've been working with Claire Phillipson (Ops Manager at the Ace) for the past couple of months to put together events for the day.

The main event is a fashion show featuring women's motorbike clothing. All the models are actually customers of mine (in fact you may know one or two of them....mentioning no names, but one of them has renamed herself recently in a confectionary manner). The idea of the whole day is to raise money for WOMAC - Woman On the Move Against Cancer.

So...what favours do I need? Well, we had been hoping all along to have a celeb to do the small amount of speaking....but that person can no longer make it So now I have no speaker....and desparately need one. So if you feel like standing on stage for about 45 mins introducing the models....then please please give me a shout as soon as possible. I'm not bothered whether the speaker is male of female, as long as you have time to meet with me later this week to go over the details, and can be at the Ace next Sunday from 10am till 4pm.

In addition, if there are any budding photographers out there that would like to take some snaps of the day (to be used on the Ace and Girlsbike2 websites) these also please give me a shout.

Other than that, if any of you are free on Sunday, please come along to support a good cause. There will be a band on, a DJ, a Dyno company, Ms.Dapre's Special Shoulder Rubbing, Shark helmet servicing, Virgin Vie makeovers, charity raffle, etc.

We are still hoping to have the army there...in the form of half naked young lads washing bikes for charity. All for the blokes.....rollerskating waitresses

If anyone wants to offer their services as speaker or photographer, please call me at my shop on the number below (you can call at any time...within reason...as it diverts to my mobile). All those working at the event will be entitled to food and drink vouchers.

Oh....I'm also looking for a couple of sash-wearing charity-can shakers...so if you are up for it.....

Given more notice I'd have been more that willing to be your speaker as I have done neumerous pubilc & crowd addresses, and think it's a very worthy cause, but alas promises already made and my unreliably because of this knee preclude me I'm afraid.

I hope it all goes well and you raise lots of dosh.

there are two sets of photos: Fashion & AcePics. The fashion pics are for you and the AcePics I assume are of more relevance for the Ace Cafe to possibly use.

Ive made the pics quite small for web and put them into a winzip file just to make downloading them easier. I will be blasting a cd through the post tomoz.

If there are any photo modifications (cropping, levels, touchup etc) that you want me to do just send me a mail william.turner@imperial.ac.uk.

Please forward on the AcePics link to who ever does the Ace website / marketing. Whilst I would really prefer that any use of photos is appropriately accredited to WillTurner i am flexible on this. However, use of my photos is on the strict condition that I receive a copy, physically or digitally, of the final item they appear in. I hope this is not an unreasonable request.
