Unhappy Time for the Duke to go

Never thought I'd say this.. But it's going to be getting it's last run on Friday.
Going over to Fife to get the belts done, and given it's last Mega clean before it goes up for sale

Took Her out last night to try and change my mind, but it did not work.
Took some pics on the way home to cheer me up

Will be very sad when she goes.

I did the same with my little suzzi a couple of weeks back, and I felt the love had gone, whether it was because she knew she was going, or I had just enough I could tell. all I know is niether of us enjoyed it and I found myself just pushing it to its limits the whole time, rather than having a lesuirly ride.

It's such a beautiful classic shape. Cant be easy for you.

The 748 would be high on my list of dream bikes.

It's not that i don't enjoy going out on her, and there is not a chance that I've even got close to what it's capable of either! It's the agony for a day or so after it that i don't like Was meant to go for an optional shoulder operation a few years ago, but that would have put me out of work etc for a long time.. decided to put up with the problem i have. Now it's came back to haunt me

You have not missed any post's Tiger.. only decided last week.. and not many people knew till the weekend. Going to be selling both bikes and buying something else thats a bit more upright.. been looking at an aprilia

When I was talking to you at the rideout on Sunday I thought it would be up for sale soon

At the end of the day if it is too uncomfortable for you then sell it to someone who doesnt feel uncomfortable on it its a lovely bike and you should be able find a buyer

Jings Sam, how clean is that?!

I've got an old 95 748. Truly sublime ride but ultimately unrewarding as you ride around at 30% of the bikes capability. I like fell like I’m getting near the bikes limit.
