Default Quick question for anyone with a pointy and genuine seat cowl

I'm sending my old one to someone but can't find the grab rail at the minute. Am I right in thinking the bracket pictured below replaces the grabrail which incorporates the bracket for the seat to slot into? To put it simply do I need to send the bracket beolw with the infills and the cowl?

Answers on a leotard.

P.S. Check out the now rare FOPP bag and Scottoiler sticker on my company laptop.

Yep you WILL need a grabrail or the rear seat wont stay on.

I just happen to have a spare pointy grabrail - you want it?

Well the bolts on there were more than long enough to fit the seat again but I don't know which rubber washers you're on about?

No it's ok thanks I have got it on the garage but it's not at my home and it's not easy to find there. The seat fits ok for overnight and I can wobble it without it coming off or the alarm switch triggering. Cheers.

If your mate does not want that bracket I will take it off your hands...

You can see where the rubber washer thingies went from your pic - they've left a slight mark on the metal. You can use either that bracket & the fillets that are attached to it to clip the seat cowl into, or you can retain the original grab rail which will serve the same purpose

Well I must've been missing the rubbers cos those marks are where the bolts were!

It all fitted snug. Oh well.
