Any local trailie riders?

Im again getting itchy feet and money burning a hole in my pocket which is tempting me to buy a trailie for some green laning. Rumour has it that North Yorks has some of the best lanes (if not the last few) in the country and much winter fun could be had around these (stay warmer than on the road as its harder work). Im again tempted by a DRZ400 which could also double up as a little road runaround.

Anyone here already do it or thinking about doing it?

There's no substitute for joining your local TRF, Rob. I havent yet as I havent a trail bike per se, but I havent heard anyhting but good and although its always a bit intimidating at first in a new group. Most groups are very welcoming. Depending on where you are there's a few people on advrider (trail riding strictly is a little on the periphery there) you could hook up with, I can give you their details although they are more big traillie oriented but do do some tough big traillie trails that a normal traillie would do easily.

Are there many places to take a motox?

There's a few local quarries where I can ride for free and there's a motox track about 5 miles away but they charge £25 per day!

Our minimoto club has just secured a deal with a motox track in Immingham as well we will have use of this trak on a Sunday I'm also currently training as a motox coach
