Default A bit controversial maybe? What do you think?

Alleged Incident.

An incident occurred in a supermarket recently, when the following was witnessed:

A Muslim woman dressed in a Burkha (A black gown & face mask) was standing with her shopping in a queue at the checkout. When it was her turn to be served, and as she reached the cashier, she made a loud remark about the English Flag lapel pin, which the female cashier was wearing on her blouse.

The cashier reached up and touched the pin and said, "Yes, I always wear it proudly. My son serves abroad with the forces and I wear it for him".

The Muslim woman then asked the cashier when she was going to stop bombing and killing her countrymen, explaining that she was an Iraqi.

At that point, a Gentleman standing in the queue stepped forward, and interrupted with a calm and gentle voice, and said to the Iraqi woman:
"Excuse me, but hundreds of thousands of men and women, just like this ladies son have fought and sacrificed their lives so that people just like YOU can stand here, in England, which is MY country and allow you to blatantly accuse an innocent check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen".

"It is my belief that if you were allowed to be as outspoken as that in Iraq, which you claim to be YOUR country, then we wouldn't need to be fighting there today".

"However - now that you have learned how to speak out and criticise the English people who have afforded you the protection of MY country, I will gladly pay the cost of a ticket to help you pay your way back to Iraq".

"When you get there, and if you manage to survive for being as outspoken as what you are here in England, then you should be able to help straighten out the mess which YOUR Iraqi countrymen have got you into in the first place, which appears to be the reason that you have come to MY country to avoid."

Apparently the queue cheered and applauded.

Well, i can see the point. I dont understand people who come to england, and then belittle this great country of ours. We give imigrants every help they ask for. Yet some are still ungratefull.

I don't agree with the war on iraq, I feel it could have been done with a bit less bloodshed...but I guess bloodshed is what you get when trigger-happy americans are also involved. But I do worry for our forces that are serving - they didnt agree to go to war, they were thrown into iraq to fight Blair's and Bush's war for oil.

This country has its flaws, but essentially, its great. I feel safe here, and I feel secure, and I am healthy here. If a little peeved with all the speed camera's and constantly repeated TV..

Well F8cking yippie hi A, About time someone said something to these freeloading f*cks. Get the Fu*k out of my country C*nt face!!!!

A man after my own heart.

IMO a lot of the problems in the UK regarding racial tension is down to the Muslims, their extreme side and their unwillingness to intergrate with the UK.

The Indians, (seikh & Hindu) Black, and Asian (mainly Bhudists) all manage it, its only the Muslims who dont seem to beable to do it. And cause trouble wherever they go!!

I think you have missed the point fella. This isn't about wether people are Muslim, or any other religion. I have friends who are muslims and they are as much against poeople spongeing off the state as much as I am. Surely this incident is a reflection on those who are purely here for the meal ticket. Surely those people fall into the same category as those who are too lazy to get jobs and claim false benefits. This is being done by white british people aswell as those of other origins and religious beliefs. I don't think it is right to group all Muslims, Asians etc and presume the worst, the same as it isn't right to presume all white British epople are hard working and honest!

yes you are right i dont group everyone together as a whole, but look at where and who is causing most of the racial tension in the UK at the moment and its the Muslims, using such things as the war in Iraq as an excuse for it.

I hate all scronger b e them white black, yellow or red. but you dont get Seikh, Buhdist or Hindu preachers telling their flock that the wester ideal are that of infadels etc do you?

So my point stands The Muslims are causing most of the Racial tennsion in the UK at the moment.

On a related note. Seeing as our wonderful socialist government (all hail our glorious leader Stalin MK2!) is closing all the forces hospitals, our forces personnel who are returning injured from Iraq are being treated in standard NHS hospitals. Some of them are consequently getting stick, and sometimes downright abuse off people (originally from Iraq) who are on the same wards...
