Question Higher bars needed ?

Can anyone advise on, the best option for raising my sv bars by an inch or two. If any one has taken their clip on bars off and replaced them with risers or replacment top yokes ?
Cheers !

I think Northwind has some rather fetching raised LSL clipons on his. Heli-bars is another option. I was looking at a "streetfighter kit" comprising of a new top yoke with a space for offroad style bars (eg renthals) and replacement longer brake lines, etc.

I looked into this just before my off, I had serious problems with the riding position.

I found that you can buy a pacakage from LSL which are actual new yoke, new bars down to bar ends etc etc for £300 all in and they are good quality. It gace the riding position of a Bandit/Fazer. The bars could be moved up / down anf rowards and backwards which I thought was better than bar raisers.

Shame I got my quote then came off on the way home. But I intend to buy them before I ride again.

Hope this helps

Don't know about " best" option, but I bought some standard handle bar risers from a naked bandit, removed clip-ons ,drilled top yolk and bolted them on with substantial shaped steel washers underneath and fitted Renthal bars .Def the cheapest option and very happy after 10 k miles with no probs .

Fraser24 could add a pic of your bike to this tread so as I could see what your type of conversion looks like, it sounds like a definite option for my budget
Looked at the LSL one and its outside what I have or want to spend on such a conversion

Have a look at these I have the comfort kit. It's very good quality, German TUV approved.
