received cheque for sv pt2
Got them great news...
ive had ANOTHER cheque arrive for the sv   , a better offer that ive accepted.So it pays NOT to accept first offer and argue it out. Thank you Carol nash and equity red star-i'll deffo be insuring the cb with them  *VIRTUAL DRINKS ON ME* lol Last edited by Paws; 23-10-07 at 03:16 PM. |

Nice one, i once turned down a £250 compensation cheque by dodgy company who came direct to me instead of through my solicitor, they accompanied it with a letter stating why they would win in court and i would have high costs to pay.
Needless to say i went back to my solicitor who, swiftly made a phone call and I had £1800 cheque delivered the same week......without a hint of court..... Completely different but same moral to the story.......never except the first offer .....its always low on the off chance your silly enough to accept it. |
