Is there any way of taking curvy s mirrors apart so i can get to the block of black metal inbetween the mirror casing and the fairing? The paint is flaking and I want to power coat it if possible?

I'm a bit confused. On my curvy S the mirrors are plastic and there is no metal plate visible. Are they mirror extenders?

Hi Pete,
I talking about the metal 'block' between the bit you screw into the fairing (underneath the rubber bit) and the actual mirror housing. It's painted in black gloss. |
