I'm about to re-insure the SV, assuming that I don't sell it and go and get a GSXR 600, so I need to get some new quotes, my existing company is Carole Nash and they have quoted me £233.15 (includes breakdown cover), which is a £150 reduction from last year, but having just had a look at a few other this is what I've come up with:
MCE = £176.70 eBike = £303.76 (don't think I'll go for that) Bennetts = £119.24 The are all for TPFT (Social, Domestic and Pleasure inc commuting). I am 32, have had a license for 1 year and have a years NCB. Oh and I do about 6k miles per annum. Anyone have any better ones, although I guess Bennetts will take some beating. |

Avoid Bennetts like the plaque, unless you intend being with them for life, and just let your policy renew automatically without having to speak to one of them as if you ever cancel your policy and want money back or make a claim, you will probably end up suicidal and out of pocket while trying to get money out of them!
they appear fine until you have a problem, do a search on here, and loads of other people ive spoke to have had the same issues. Im glad im shot of them! In answer to your question - im with Express insurance, they beat Bennetts price by 100quid, gave me unlimited miles and covered my mods! Im happy so far! ![]() |

+1 for express insurance - they're the broker in charge of last years suzuki-offered deal, and I've just renewed with them having the best deal again.
Beat most of the others out by about £200 for me (Comp, 15k per year inc commuting). |

i would agree with everyone about bennetts, many a person has shown their dismay at them on here. I'd stick with Carole Nash, but I've only ever used them. S'pose it really adds up to age and (stereotypicaly) your gender. I'm an old bird with no claims for 4 years and for 2 SV's fully comp was £300 this year, last year I nearly paid for that for one of them TPFT

Was with e-bike for 3 years, but they've suddenly got expensive for me (for no reason at all).
Just got a new policy with the AA, who were the cheapest. Found it through one of the price-comparison websites. |

im with CIA. they seem pretty good,, when they send me the letter for the renewal, i have a quick ring round and theyre usually pretty competetive, so i ring them back and tell them that someone else is ?50 cheaper............sorry, , , , , then they have a think, ring back and knock another ?20 off the ficticious price,
which is nice, always found that a bit of bull5hit come renewal time works well............................ |
