View Full Version : Ride Out 27th April 2008 - Welsh Way Round IV.
Some people have hinted that its time to tackle the Welsh Way Round again. We last did it towards the end of 2006 and there are lots of new Surfers.
Ive picked a Sunday for this one as there are many riders that cant manage the usual Saturdays.
Date/Time/Where meet?
Sunday 27th April 2008
Usual meeting point Severn View Services (aka Aust) usual time 11.00am to depart at 11.15am. Finish at junction 32 M4 Cardiff at approx 5.00pm.
The route (same as before, no recce needed) is here(.pdf) (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/twoponds/nest/WWR3.pdf) or here (.axe Autoroute 2006) (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/twoponds/nest/Aust2CastellCoch_V2.axe)
As always we will be using the Drop Off (http://www.gwent-advanced-motorists.org/bikes/drop_off_sys.htm)system to mark out route. Please have a full tank of fuel on departure.
Same as we do on every SWS Rideout concerning the safety element, I suggest that we all print out the form below, complete it, no need to hand it to anyone just have it with you, Put it in the map pouch of your tank bag (or somewhere equally obvious).

This will be my 4th Ninja T2B rideout so its a bit of an annual ritual really.Something that must be done.
thought about going on some of the Ninja ride outs, what they like?? fast and manic or is there room for a more gentle paced rider ??
ninja bobw

A mixture of both depends whose on the rideout really but as with all rideouts its better to arrive late than never. No different to some of the ones on here.

Sorry me neither, I'm with Bobw on the Ninja weekend away. Afraid I wouldn't miss the T2B for anything and I've done the first Welsh Way and had a (wet) great day out. Just a pity they clash.

Its a shame you cant make it, but whatever weekend is selected there is always a clash with something for someone.

Luckliy I am allowed to do pretty much (within the normal social conventions that we live under ) what I like. However as someone has given us the present of a couple of days hidden away I think it might be a little rude to pop off riding to Wales

Sounds like a plan mate. Aber to Llandovery, 1000 sheep road, that other road and the black mountains would be good. Could shoe horne Builth Wells and beyond in as well sometime. Roll on Summer :riding:
