I was after the hall effect pickup but i found one in the uk, fitting it as we speak, half the price of the US version too

RS do them http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=2355706

and i brought some counter sunk magnets from ebay (which i attached with M3 stainless allen bolts and stainless ny-lock nuts to the discs)
like these but smaller http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEODYMIUM-COUNTERSUNK-MAGNET-10-pk-STRONG-10x5x3-2mm_W0QQitemZ190191976645QQihZ009QQcategoryZ147829 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem but check the poles

That's the same sensor as I got from Farnell (cheaper and better service, RS didn't wanna answer any questions about specs or suitability, Farnell took the time to make sure the spec of theirs was the same).

What size were the magnets and which way do the poles need to be (I'm preparing a back-up if mine don't get sorted out from the states)?

Phil

I didn't get it from RS cause they were out of stock, i got it from kemptoncontrols.co.uk but its the same make

I cant remember the size of the magnets but the ones from the US kit are fine until you need to change the discs or a magnet falls out

Did you get any spare magnets?

If mine fall through can I pop round and measure yours?

This is the last bit I need to do to complete my gixer conversion.

He does but he charges too much when everything can be sourced in this country!

Tis only the magnets that I need to sort out now.
