Back in 2000...when I first got on the net....
Was on a forum where we would often ..(as a joke) ...modify other users pictures.
Because I had a yellow bike, I was turned in to BanannaMan by one of my friends. :rolleyes:
The name kinda stuck with everyone there and I've been using it ever since.
Here it is!!!

My name's Donal. A friend started calling me the Donal when I arrived at nights out on the lash about...13 years ago. It stuck.
It's not cos I'm special or anything. Well- maybe "special". More an infamy thing I reckon.

Mine used to be DeeaS ( My name Backwards) and then at AR07 changed to Devil Biccy because of my bike Reg and my unpredictability with lighter fuel and B-B-Q's those present will remember!

Much like New Leaf, I too was a knobster, but see that gay version of rugby with all the pads and the pointless statistics and the stopping and starting? Well it saved my life.
Played for the Glasgow University Tigers (and then the East Kilbride Pirates) and just got interested in something and involved in something and took a bit of responsibility and generally took my head out of my a*se. I also made some great friends. Actually it was them who saved my life of course. God only knows where I'd be now if I'd stayed sat in the Union bar telling lies...

I used to be Pigbunk, 'coz I used to be a big punk. I changed to Bear when I realised we didn't have one on the .org. It's a fundamental law of all bike clubs that there should be a Bear involved at some point.
Also, I worked with a Yank film crew who started off calling me Ox, then Moose, but Bear finally stuck...

Once upon a time, not so long ago & in this very galaxy, I used to earn my humble living as a singer.
One show I was involved in had 3 male vocalists; so that the sound engineer could keep track of us on the mixing desk he labeled us Vox, Rockvox & Supervox - with the SV connection it just seemed fitting.

In my early internet years, I would use either guitarhero or alpinestarhero as a user name, depending on the forum.

We changed our internet provider and I needed to come up with an email address and that was at the same time I joined the might .org.
I sat for hours trying to think up something witty, inteligent, humerous etc.
In the end I settled for my initials grh and my collar number 1904.
It's not funny, witty or intelligent. Does this mean I am a boring, unfunny thicko ??????

Mine's pretty simple.

On some forums I'm known as Slider (2 reasons, haing have 3 offs all involving sliding, it seemed appropriate and Slider is a character in Top Gun so that fitted my RAF connection). Slider was already taken on here though.

I work in lubricants (Engine oils, before the double entendres start) and I have been known to have a drink or two.
In fact, I am rather "well oiled" right now thanks to a combination af a few bottles of Stella Artois and a generous vodka and coke.:drink:

I thought Sythree was a good one too, it changed when I wasn't looking and it took me a while to catch on Ed.
I live in postcode area SY3 (south side of Shrewsbury). When I first started using internet forumsI had to come up with a user name and also I had to type in my name and address. I never had a nickname, always known as Eddie, so I was looking at the screen hoping for some inspiration and SY3 struck me - 'Sythree'.
Problem was, hardly anyone understood it:rolleyes:

Apparently to get your porn star name you use the name of your first pet and your mothers maiden name.
My first pet was called Foxy and the name has stuck ever since lol. Even when I haven't seen friends for a few years and bump into them they still call me foxy. Hmmm no-one elses porn star name at the time seemed to stick :rolleyes:
I was trying to think of a username and it made sense to use foxy and a work colleague suggested 'in leather' would be better than just plain foxy. Hence the name foxyinleather lol
And before you ask, no, I have never been a Porn star lol :D

I used to play quake 2 at work over the LAN with the lads and played on a mod so I could play as bart simpson, my name on the work server was "Eat my shorts", later I played counter strike in a clan and shortened it to "5hort5", ever since then (a long time ago) I have been known by everyone as 5hort5.

Name is Andrew Carey, but, my Mum calls me Andrew when I'm in trouble. lol. Andy I don't like a great deal and only get called it be peeps at work. Drew - Lily started calling me it not long after we got together. Stuck ever since and now all freinds and family call me Drew and I much prefer it.

My real name is Janie Flick. It is amazing how many people misunderstand on the phone and think my name is Jamie Slick. I get mail both at home and at work addressed to Jamie Slick.
I am the vice president of a large credit union, so of course I am the "professional" at work. When I get this stuff addressed to Jamie Slick I just have to laugh.
It just sounds like a porn star name to me. So I decided that Jamie Slick is my "alter ego." :D:p "Jamie Slick.....porn star."
