I got man flu

My head hurts, my eyes hurt. my nose don't work, my throat tickles and makes me cough. My bones ache. I lack energy.

Please call an undertaker as I feel it is too late for a doctor to do anything.

To cap it all. I have just been to the dentist as yet another crown has come out. He thinks I am going to loose one of my front pearlies and the one that held the missing crown.

I won't even be able to smile in my coffin

Take some paracetomol to control any elevated tempurature your having, and take some sudafed to help with the conjestion. I find the nasal spray stuff works well at unblocking your noooossseeee

Get well soon :D

There there, do you want some soup??

I`d dial 999 and get yourself straight into hospital cos you must be feeling so ill i`m sure you`re in need of total nursing care :smt096

TBH I am lucky to still have my front teeth.

Many years ago I had an accident where I was running down the road at night with my hands in my pockets and failed to see a chain link fence.

I landed on my face. Broke my nose, knocked front teeth out and fractured my jaw. They were able to push the teeth back in. One turned a funny colour and has been veneered. It is the one next to it. The dentist thinks the root has decayed

I had man-flu last week. I'm amazed at how little sympathy people have for the sufferers.

Cure? Glenfiddich

Yer...... that's nothing more than "mild localised smarting" compared to man-flu ;-)

It is getting worse. I need tucking in. A hot water bottle, lots of there there.

Got my "The single malt whisky companion" with me for the tasting notes reference whilst I decide on appropriate medication. Currently contemplating Glenfarclas 105 as I need kill or cure

This sounds like a very serious strain of Homosapien Infuenza, i'd get myself down the hospital and booked into ICU just to be on the safe side.

Women will never understand. It has been clinically proven* that the symptoms of influenza affect males to a far greater degree. So when we are at death's door they compare their 'sufferings' to ours and come to the conclusion that we are either making it up or just plain soft.

* this statement has no basis in fact whatsoever but if you say things with enough confidence and authority, people will believe anything - I almost had a GP believing me about this once :D

Get your self into bed, hire a nice lady of negotiable affection to "Nurse" you better and take a paracetamol.
