hmm id be up for the rideout, am i missing the planned date for it in this thread?

i may shamefully NOT be on my sv, but id like to think from my current 'Fleet' it be on another twin at least.

ill be coming from peterborough so anyone kinda passing near by can meet up and ...'cough-cough' race me the rest of the way down?? and likewise pick up any agreeable stragglers....
Come over to N'pton, I am currently planning a route down.

(ere phil, me and you can sneak our laptops in if you want? upload updates on the hour every hour - I'm thinking videos, pictures even a live webcam)

On a more serious note, could we get the entire org doing a conga? I want YC in front of me and gr33k behind me please

Hi everyone. A newbie from the border patrol here.

I am definately going to the annual rideout! I have relatives in Colchester, not too far away so I can base myself there.

Hehe 'Support duty' means helping me out in any way I need. I live in Colchester so will probably be taking stuff down to the place and setting things up and stuff.

So any local help will be very appreciated!!

To anyone going to the AR09, if you're interested ABBA stands workshop is just down the road. Only about 8 miles.

Not sure if this link will work, but here goes

Works better if you take the bag out of the box ;) Then you can squeeze the bag for faster intake

and the use of a 'beer bong' (deceptive name i think, can use it for anything :smt083), will allow even faster consumption!

Why not?

I passed my test in September 06 and rode to Aberdeen in April 07 for Easter.

Oh that was from London BTW, and 2-Up.

Left London about 6pm on the Thursday, stayed at a Travelodge near Manchester that night then completed the run to Aberdeen on the Friday.

Left Aberdeen on the Sunday, stayed with a friend in Sheffield on the Sunday night then home on the Monday.

That was also "solo" as in no other bikes with us.

There is likely to be a bunch of Scots coming down, so meet up with them and just go for it - if its anything like previous years, people on your route will offer space to bunk down over night so you can break the journey up.

End of the day its up to you, but dont think it beyond you, it probably isn't (and yes I did read your other post about you and OH :)

That's a P!SH excuse. You can't beat a wee (BIG) road trip. Don't write it off yet mate.

I'll buy you a beer if you go.

Easy for you to say, you ride an intercontinental ballistic missile, you'd be there before I get to the border.
