Cheers, she's a lovely dog. Soft as a brush. Surprisingly, the little Yorkie Max is actually in charge of our household :smt082. He's a grumpy little git!
BTW, nice beardie you have there. I really want to get one of those in the future.
Lol, funnily enough, back in my postman days that wa always the case, i used to get bitten on the ankles all the time by those little dogs. Even got chased down the road on my bike by one of those yorkshire terriers, lol, the dog was quick. lol
Yeah i love beardie mate, he is awesome, plus he is getting big now, but he's soft as sh*t, and very friendly. He likes to just chill and watch telly.

I don`t feed her after midnight or spill water on her as these Green bubbles pop out of her back and produce Gremlins .

mick
If it isn't a working dog, it had some serious issues with next door's rabbit
Not really a working dog but he goes beating once a week, I also used to take him on a 10mile run twice a week but he's getting old and it was starting to mess with his shoulder joint so now it's just the 3 walks a day and beating most weekends.
Along with the occassional rabbit he's also caught a HUGE rat, a weasle/ferrit thing and once went for a lamb lol. He's not as soft as he looks but he's so obedient, a click of the fingers or a whistle and he's by your side and has never gone for anyone, couldn't ask for a better dog :).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that`s so cruel :( I couldn`t harm any animals.
Everyone in work went mad at me today cos i found a pigeon in the carpark that a cat and 5 magpies had attacked and were trying to kill. I picked him up and brought the bird into the health centre cos he couldn`t fly and I thought if he has to be killed let it be humanely. Anyways, I rang the RSPB and they were out within 30 mins (credit to them) everyone in work said pigeons are vermin and they won`t be interested but I had a call this afternoon to say that the pigeon had had awful injuries to the underside of his wing but they had repaired it and once he was recovered he`d be released.
Aww bless I like a happy ending :D

Back in 1997 when I used to smoke out side the house...
I had a pet spider in my shed called spiddy, it never used to run after a ball or do other cute stuff, but it was my pet spider. Even though it did not know this..
I used to catch it flys and put them into Spiddys web....
Then one day I got a posting order... To move from the Uk over to Germany.
So I had to clean my Shed........
So sorry Spiddy... Hairspray, Lighter and Spider web Don't mix to well.....
Shed passed the inspection ...
I've a garage now...
my own Garage...
Not MOD owned...
and I've a new pet Spider...
called George...
I'm gonna love it and pet it... and call it George.
Richie, did you catch something in Kenya? Remember, never post whilst delirious ;)
I keep hearing buzzing.. and I'm going to medcentre as I've got a lump on my left arm....
might be nothing but then again might be something else ... hopefully not... NO JOKE... I DO HAVE A LUMP THAT IS WORRYING ME.
catch you on SAturday Bob.

Moved me nearer to the phone book to look up mental health services in his area lmao.
Seriously tho Richie I hope the lump on your arm is something and nothing. Tho there are certain types of spiders that lay eggs under your skin... you then get a lump and all of a sudden the baby spiders hatch out:smt078

Well I used to have pets but unfortunately lost them in the custody battle when I split up with my ex :smt089
Thought I would post some pics anyway as they are real cuties
First one is my cat Tigger this pic was taken on 2nd day of having him.
4237
Then next one is him playing about 2 years later
4238
He is almost 6 years old now and probably the biggest cat you have seen in your life. One of my friends came to visit one day and looking out the window said "did not know you guys had gotten a dog" and was shocked when I said it was Tigger just grown up :)
We got Pinky in 2007 and she was a gorgeous little thing when we got her(rescued her from a family that were keeping her locked in a cupboard)
4236
She has grown up a bit more now
4235
Still a real cutie and loves attention.

Glucosamine can really help dogs with stiffness problems, well worth a go to see if it helps.

Good luck! What about cod liver oil? Our lab is getting on a bit so gets these when we remember.
Our lab is a fussy git when it comes to glucosamine, you've got to wrap them in a bit of meat in such a way that he will just gulp the lot down (the greedy git). If he notices he will eat the meat and spit the tablet out.
Then again this is a dog who will nick walnuts, crack them open and eat the nut without a bit of shell!

Cod liver oil is good too, a tip is to give him the tablet wrapped in a bit of meat, while holding another bit of meat above his nose to make him scoff it faster, and hopefully not notice. That's the idea anyway!
That's amazing about the walnuts, my Indie loves pistachios, sits and drools when we have them:D

Trying to help poor Smudge http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=146223 out over the last two days has made me really depressed, so to cheer myself up I got the camera out and took some pictures of the dogs, sorry about the self indulgent post, I'm just feeling sorry for myself :(

Thanks Pete, he is honestly my once in a life time dog, my heart melts every time I see him. I just cant imagine life without him :(
I want a dog badly, but at the minute, my family cat would not allow it. I think my python and bd would be fine.

Hmm well tis the food mostly. Ours goes through a tin - 2 tins of food a day with a few handfuls of mixer chucked in. If you're wanting one from a pup then everything is expensive, vaccinations/toys/accessories etc. We've had our for about 5 years now but he was a rescue dog, ex-police dog, just didn't make the grade I think hehe.
Him with a teddy he nicked, after removing an eye and spitting it out it was quickly removed. He's a very much search and destroy dog, any toy he gets hold of is just ripped to shreds LOL

Drop a pm to Exupdog if you want some info, he's bred the things :-D
For an awful moment there I thought you said "Bred with the things". Those allegations were totally wrong, all I said was that I love my GSD's. I don't know how to attach big pictures like the rest of you, but here's the latest pic of my youngest dog Dan. He was a year old at the end of November. The dog on my avatar is Max, sadly now departed for nearly three years. I'm still waiting to get over him. He was huge and intelligent and just amazing.
This is the only pic I have of Mr Big at the moment

For those who think cats and dogs don't get on too well...come and spend a day at my house, and you'll be convinced they do.
I have had two of my cats for over ten yrs, and Honey dog first appeared from the RSPCA around seven yrs ago. They couldn't tell me if she was cat friendly or not. A little patience showed us she would be.
Bob the dog came as a pup, three years ago, much to the two cats delight...not, but after a few short days of him bothering them they gave up hissing, and ignored him.
Now Mr Tibbs the amazing contorting cat is a year old, Honey wanted to eat him for three days, at first, but then after that he just waltzed into where they sleep, curled up and went to sleep. Bob and Mr Tibbs are buddies, and play like puppies...in fact the dogs are so great with him, they get scared when he hogs their beds, and sit whimpering at you to move him :-)
SO in conclusion, three cats and two dogs can live in perfect harmony, just don't leave the gate open to next door or the two dogs will eat next doors cat alive ;-)

had great fun watching them when we were looking after em, the swats Tibbs the cat would give Bob on the nose, with him threatening to pounce on Tibbs :-D Casper actually rubs up against Bob in greeting when he comes in from outside, very sweet :-)

And just to reinforce Dizzy comment, cats don't all chase and kill birds!

I think it's more a survival thing that Conker leaves them be, they are all her size and have sharp beaks and claws.
