He's a handsome looking guy too. I'm sure it's a confidence thing, bless him.

oh i know that, but if the plan involves one down there thdn all the better! :)
I've just had a look at the pic gid.
Now i am not a bender, but i know when a boy is ugly, and i can honestly say that he looks like the popular type that doesn't have a problem getting decent looking girlfriends. It must be a confidence thing alone, and not one that makes sense because he shouldn't have any worries about his looks!

Some kids just are'nt secure enough in their sexuality.
5 mins alone with Bear usually fixes that........

say to him if he thinks he looks that bad what he'd change about himself. I was (and still am but ssshh) a fat git, bad haircut etc . . . but i changed myself by gym, different haircut and low and behold one of the most confusing things to man, a woman is interested in me .
Get to the bottom of what's wrong and people will either act or realise it's not as bad.

Well I suppose it makes them certain one way or the other, either ragin homo or shuddering wreck...
I wouldn't worry too much just yet.
Sounds to me like he's going through the period of 'Sturm und Drang', which most likely will resolve in time. Rather than patronising him by telling him he's good looking etc, you need to help him develop self confidence. Little things like showing you trust him, asking his opinion on important decisions etc, will do marvels for his confidence.
Good luck. :)
