I ran 36/42 on my CBR. 33,34/36 will be fine.
34/38 Min - turns need more effort but feels more planted, wears the tyre evenly.
36/42 Max - turns faster but steering is more sensitive to input and road bumps, wears the tyre centre more. (but I like it)
Go nuts with the air until you are happy, HTH :D

Not an attempt to derail the thread or owt...I checked mine before leaving yesterday morning and it was 33/36 - I thought that's great, bang on what it should be.
Checked this morning, 30/31...........I really do hope I haven't picked up slow punctures and it's just my pressure checker which is bonkers!

I base my assumption on the calculation that the average price of petrol is 96p...
If £3 went in, I guesstimate approx 3 litres (give or take a bit depending on the price) went in which is near enough the minimum 2 litre delivery notice you see on all pumps! :p

What time did you lot get out there ?
I was there about 10:30 - stayed for about 1/2 hr before going off for a little bimble prior to getting home for the Grand Prix.
Did you look in at the Essex BikeSafe show ?
I'd completely forgotten about it until I saw 4 or 5 riders each with a police bike behind them - I also saw 1 poor soul drop a brand new BMW GS800 at a T-Junction :-( - hope it was a test-ride bike & not his own.
Glad you had a good day - it's never a bad thing to let some of the more Northern orientated Org-ans* know that we do have some great biking roads around these parts
You know what they're like - they think that the *only* good biking roads are 'oop North' :p
*Before anyone gets takes offence, the final comment above is aimed at no-one in particular & is merely a Southern Shandy Drinker's attempt at humour
We arrived in two parties, but neither were there before half 12 I don't think. We had a little look in the bikesafe event - guy was trying to enroll us into an advanced riding course but not many of us are from Essex so he failed.
I think the majority of us came from further South lol!
Was my first at Burham, love the bends :smt040 will be back very soon.

I might be. Will have to see some specific times/dates off you first :p plus I need to either a) fix the CBR, or b) clean the 750 - I just got back from the WSBK in Assen 8) I'll probably put a thread up about it later. I will just say that next to the track is the best stretch of road ever! Lovely corners most of which you can see right round, went up and down that many times with my mate 8) shame I can't find anything like that in the UK. Anyway 850 miles has made the bike quite the dirty one :p

I dont fancy another rideout like that untill i get my SV. Im finally getting sick of the cg with next to no power after 40/50 mph, i cant lean it far enough without most probably lowsiding it, and the brakes are crap, and i dont want to roll up to the burnham caff with L plates again.

They're not that fast lol. Although yeah probably a fair bit more power than the cg.
Rolling up with L plates? Not really a problem no one thinks anything of it. You get them at squires.
Yep restricted, but Tazdaz is also on a restricted licence and he really pulled away on some of the straights and i know the pace wasnt even that fast.

yeah he would do from the cg, they ain't fast though. Try race another bike anywhere but corners and you're fooked. My mate beat me on a straight on his harley! And it's a boat. As soon as we were out of first gear he took the lead. Although that guy can ride it's hilarious to watch him, sparks round every corner, you don't see many chicken stripless harleys.

Hey dont worry about it - as I see it its all miles under your wheels, and thats a good thing with your test coming up.
So the CG has no power, big deal - we went on a ride, not a race, Sunday rides like that are mostly about getting out with friends, having a laugh and doing a bit of riding inbetween, I worked out I did more miles getting there and back than I did on the actual ride - but thats no problem.
Everyone went through the rolling up to a biker haunt with L-Plates on - my DAS instructor took us to the Tea-Hut @ Blackheath, and told tales of another instructor that if the weather was good took his pupils down to Box Hill (and then made them practice U-Turns in the car-park........)
Anyone who is in the group that wants to can easily do as I did, and get out in front, have a bit of a blast and then wait for everyone.

Magnum...SK is right, its all miles under your belt and dont worry abou the L plates, no one but you gives a fig about them being on there. We all had L plates at some point.
And just to make you feel better about yours....mine was on a C90, delivering pizzas!!!! And one night one of the L plates fell off and a nice police woman decided she was gonna give me 3 points for it, even tho she agreed that it could have fallen off on the journey and that i could easily replace it when i got back to the shop...she still enjoyed giving out the points.
mnaybe she believed Brucie when she heard him saying "Points Make Prizes". Godi hope your old enough to understand that otherwise i really will feel VERY old. Old enoght to be SK's dad even.

WTF has this thread turned into now....Adopt an SK for the week? lol
Magnum...SK is right, its all miles under your belt and dont worry abou the L plates, no one but you gives a fig about them being on there. We all had L plates at some point.
And just to make you feel better about yours....mine was on a C90, delivering pizzas!!!! And one night one of them fell off and a nice police woman decided she was gonna give me 3 points for it, even tho she agreed that it could have fallen off on the journey and that i could easily replace it when i got back to the shop...she still enjoyed giving out the points.
mnaybe she believed Brucie when she heard him saying "Points Make Prizes". Godi hope your old enough to understand that otherwise i really will feel VERY old. Old enoght to be SK's dad even.
I dont know that I am old enough - at first I thought you got points for dropping a pizza in the road........
