Ok I know it's been a while but have finally managed to win the battle with fbook and photos are up, still a few more to go up but will get them up on here this week. 'Spect you've all forgotten about them but some of them are worth a look so I will do my best to get them up as soon as possible.

Great pics Maria!

Very likely the birds of prey you saw soaring were Golden Eagles. They are a common sight in the glens both to the north and south of Eilean Donan. I sat for 90 odd minutes once having a spot of lunch on the road from Sheil Bridge to the Kyle Rhea ferry and watched a pair of golden eagles soaring above and returning to the cliff face somewhere every few minutes. I'll see if I can find the photo's.
