I've met I think just 4 .orgers in total, none while riding, and all very briefly while buying or selling bits:

Batteryman (bought the SV from him -met at his work)

Viffer (sold him a front wheel and brakes -met at my office)

Stig_Of_The_Dump (sold him my old trailer -side of the road near Silverstone)

dan_pont (sold him my fairing -Tesco Extra near my house)

Ive met you too,and you failed to sell me anything.;-)
Ever get that nicked KTM back?:(

First people I met were Will (he's moved to Dubai, so doesn't post here any more) and the lovely Mr Toad.

It was at a Bikesafe at the Ace Cafe and they sidled up to me at the end to tell me about a bunch of people who meet up in Soho on Friday nights.

My life has never been the same since.

Could say something silly like I used to work in Soho & saw what went on there after dark!

I think you'll find your going to have to come on the Plan-o-man to meet many orgers.... no confidence needed, just a few beers, your bike and yourself.

And yes technically i may well be one of the closest people living to you, and one of the most expensive! :@

First orgers I met were Si and Warthog amongst a few others - we had a Sunday breakfast at Fox's Diner a couple of years back when I had my silver 650K3 naked.

I remember seeing you when we arrived and thought "there looks a right shifty character." Glad to be proven wrong.

Hard to remember... Think it was either Coolgirl or Viney or maybe Dicky Ticker

Had lurked for a little while after getting the sv and saw a rideout being planned so met up with the selkent lot down at Oakdene Cafe and had a full days rideout all over the place

Kinda went on from there, did a few rideouts, started going to selkent meets, took over idle banter with a few others :p and eventually co-founded the Essex section and became a moderator....

Lots of stuff since but that was the starting experience

Damn im not sure when I first met one lol. Id guess it would be Simesb (http://forums.sv650.org/member.php?u=7424) when the pennine massive went out for a ride, was a damn good ride out that! Some brilliant roads up in North Yorkshire :)

Im not certain though.
