That was amazing.
Gorgeous day, and the support from the locals was incredible.
Ended up in the last group despite getting there at 12.30! Obviously I was paying enough attention to the queue :)
Did you happen to ride past an sv just sat by the side of the exit as you where leaving to go through Wootten Basset? Think i saw you ride past

the community spirit is amazing. between the bikers and between the bikers and none bikers. i've just been speaking to some old bird from WB on facebook for 10mins who I would have never spoke to otherwise.
there was a discusion on here the other day about the new think biker, thiink biker adverts and how they are trying to humanise bikers in the eyes of none bikers so that they see as people and not robots/machines or wotever and I thinks today has done the world of good to promote that we're not all mad heads, we are people and we do care. As a result I believe we have gained respect from a lot of people who may have previously looked down on bikers. Add that to the super cause and the great patriotic comunity spirit and I feel a great day has been had by all!

I've seen so many bikes today that I just can't remember!
If it helps, I was riding at the front of my group of three. Bike 2 was a blue curvy, and bike 3 was a black Triumph Speed 4.
Actually...
There was a blue pointy that looked like it had broken down, in front of a recovery van maybe...?

I was on a blue unfaired curvy near the back next to a red zr7 with it tank mashed in lol.
Oh man! I am suffering today. Am so tired and an annoying headache which I think is from the fumes while waiting to go. Small price to pay though!!!

Strange that, im suffering from a bad case of man-flu today. Withdrawl symptoms from inhalation of fumes! Im going to go switch my bike on and sit behind it see if that helps.

I was feeling nasty last night, maybe a touch of carbon monoxide poisoning? There was an annoying tit in front of me all day with a knackered 1200 bandit with headache inducing cans and a bit of smoke on the overrun, for some reason he seemed to be unable to ride without constantly blipping the throttle, he looked desperate to do something stupid.
Great day...
It never occured to me that people would be out waving & cheering, brilliant ride through the villages & W.B.
Couple of SV's that caught my eye - is they you ;)

Was a shame we didn't meet as you were about 20 bikes down from us, spotted your bike whilst walking to get a very expensive small coffee.
