really nice. very homely.. very friendly.. very lived in like you are stayin in someones home so not la de da etc .. but loved it £25 each B and B the nightn - good value with an ace view..

I want to plug it in case anyone goes there cos it is owned by callum who has lived in Plockton all of his life and owns the seal boat. he stopped doing B and B and then his daughter Fioan who is soo lovely is studying inLondon to be an opera singer and she atarted the B and b to fund her college.. so she does it when she is home.. so if you need somewhere.. and you want an ace place then try here..

there a love in fact three pubs , a chippy, superb walks , lovely fish restauraunt.. and its real near to everywhere.

we will be goin back.. if you go or book mention Dave and Mandy the bikers from crewe.. they "might" remember me..

and the garden is really ecclectic.. there is a phone box in it.. about 30 foot above the B and b on the hillside.. ..

they have a cat .. so if you dont like cats fekiin unlucckeeee

so.. sorted in B and B and so we head off for Applecross and the ballach ne ba .. (or whatever it is called)

stopped on the way at loch summat as we heard there was a nice cake/coffee shop there..

lovely little chippy.. 20 minute wait but OHHH the best fish ever.. (EVEN BETTER than my previous best .. in padstow and Rick Steins)..

we had fish n chips PEAS. (cos it up north and I can get them here.. ) and Gravy .. (same ) yum yum.. a a can of coke and a can of dandelion and Burdock.. mm instantly transformed back to being 8 years old..

this was lovely out here I wanted to strip to me calvins and jump in (at 8pm).. until i lay down and felt the water.

so next morning cracking breakfast- load the bike .. and off to Aberfoyle via callander and pitlochry etc etc .. nice run .. and stopped at a few places we liked last year to see if they had changed..

we were going to Aberfoyle to do the "Go Ape" .. the high wire. adventure, up in the trees , swinging rope thing.. was ace.

stopped about a mile short of Callendar to see a Loch that mandy loved last year and where she had her pic taken on the Gixxer..

we were lucky- it hadnt changed and we managed to catch a couple of swans..

Ok so earlier we had to get to Aberfoyle.. we arrived at Pitlochry and asked them about the go ape in a shop.. they hadnt heard of it !.?? .. Mandy only had thin flat shoes with her so we needed to get her some trainers or merrils.. so went in a shoe shop saw some nice ones at £20.. didnt want to spend a bomb and wanted some to use later to walk the dog etc..

but me bein tight didnt want to but any trainers if we couldnt get on the course tommorow. I called them to book.. they said yes free times tommorow so we could book on phone.. and a £1.50 booking fee. I said I am only up the road from the course so will go book there and then dont have to pay £1.50.. I looked on sat nav and Aberfeldy was only ten mins away .. so we bought the shoes.. nbo box and mand tucked them down her jacket..

off we went to Aberfeldy .. rode around.. looked ok.. couldnt find go ape.. asked a bloke .. he hadnt heard of it.. asked another- same answer. #

so I called them again.. swallowed my pride.. got same woman.. asked for directions.. she said.. aberfeldy? you are in aberfeldy.? the go ape is in Aberfoyle! oops.. looked on sat nav .. hour and half away .... oh dear- so I had to book on phone and the kind lady waived the £1.50.. but I know she wudda put the phone down and said to her mates what a **** !..

so off we set for AberFOYLE>>

(yes I know dukes pass is Aberfoyle and I showed them pics earlier- me got confused- again !)

dropped on a nice hotel for a nice price. luckily the owner was outside when we pulled up.. he said would do us a good b and B price as long as we didnt go chippy for tea and ate in his bar or restauraunt.. deal. :D

mand will go mad.. she did have more than one top to wear I promise you..

She wore this cos I had done a detour on the way down from Plockton to get a bracelet I had seen in a small shop at Fort Augustus that matched that top.. I hadnt had chance to get it when we were there without her seeing so had to tell her about it in plockton..

and that was it..

head to kilted gingers for a lovely eveneing and a nights stay and home on saturday ,..
stopped for petrol and saw this..

Thanks to everyone.. it was a brill week and we absolutely love scotland..

however. my bike is still filthy .. I not looked at it or cleaned it at all.. now there is a hosepipe ban on here... so bucket and water job..
