Well...I bought one. Should be collecting it this weekend.

2007 TT ltd edition GSX-R 750. Absolutely mint condition, only just over 2k miles, standard apart from tail tidy and alarm. Has had four dealer services. Get a few extras, spare screen, new r&gs to fit because old owner didn't want to drill fairing, cair-o-port tent, paddock stands, optimate...think that was all. 4,900 GBP...think I got a bargain.

That'll be the one, or should I say my one! Collected it already, just need to tweak the suspension settings to make it perfect.

Which one are you going for Shelly? 600 or 750?

Plan is the 750 ... I am saving cash for it so as long as I got enough I will go for the 750 :-)

Nice one! :)

For me at least, the insurance for a 750 was less than a 600, even if the quotes were identical apart from the different engine. Mad.

I haven't riden the 600, but the 750 sure does have a fair bit of low/mid power.

I have not really ridden one for any length of time, I will of course before I purchase one ..... along with the R6 as one of those took my eye too.

750 I think is the way I am swaying .... need to as I plan to do lotsa riding next year and this will give me the confidence Zuky cannot give me.

What confidence don't you get from your SV? A 750 is quite a different beast altogether. Are you sure it will improve confidence?.

I came off Zuky and hate cornering on her becuase of it (not mainly cos she has square tyres LOL) and I think alot of it is in her size, she a tad too big for me and I feel she is top heavy.

The Gixer is lighter and easier to plant on the road , point it and it goes, Zuky is hard work in cornering for me.

I think the fact I can plant my feet on the floor and she feels better between my legs will help me. Just an excuse really to go buy a new bike !!

A good excuse as any for getting a new bike. The GSXR IMO will be better than the SV in every dept except maybe your wallet as I struggle to better 38MPG.

Which model you going for am not sure am liking the looks of the new 2011 models? Brembo brakes is a nice touch as well as 8kg lighter than last seasons 750 bike. But waht has Suzuki skimmed on to give you Brembos??

Fair do. Maybe your bike has a problem if it's hard to corner? Any excuse for a new bike is a good excuse! :)

GSX-R 750 is a bit taller btw...unless its the difference in width of seat or something which helps you.

Arggh I may be putting the Gixer in hold. I wanted to pay cash for it and have no finance and I have other plans which, until I sat down and discussed, didnt realise would take all my dosh ....blonde moment.

4 holidays, 2 biking hols and 2 sun holidays is on the cards for next year along with lots of camping trips and I want to learn to do a few things like Kite Surfing.

I want to have fun as for past few years I haven't and life is too short not too.

May look into 2nd hand ones next year once I got my sun tan :-) and white bits ;)

So any orgers that have a GSXR and will be selling next year LET THE WOOZLE KNOW Xxxx
