Some dic# at work moved my bike today and when i came to ride it the clutch lever was very hard to pull in and was hard to engage a gear.

My bike had the steering lock on so they must of dragged it to move it.

Anyone any ideas what it could be.

Cable adjustment? They've maybe pulled at the cable when dragging the bike.

You need to have a quiet word.:smt068

Preferably with a item of bike security and gaffa tape

I take it there's no obvious, outward reason thats causing the lever to be restricted?
If no, then remove the cable and see if the lever moves freely without it, hopefully this will identify the cause of the problem

having a think about it.

Was it left in gear when you parked/ moved without consent?
I would check the adjuster that is in (i think) front sprocket cover if it doesn't loosen up

i would loose the rag if someone so much as touched my bike when it was parked somewhere nevermind drag it somewhere

You ought to buy one of these and introduce it to the nice persons back:

leave one of them in your bag... when you take the cat out of the bag you gotta use it on somebody

They may have heaved on the lever and bent it slightly causing difficulty in moving it. Do as Sid says.

And when you find out what is damaged (if anything) make sure they pay fot fixing it...some people, honestly.
