IF you were being serious ask Badger or Claire or BP

I have heard enough from Mr Yokes that I would rather do business with the devils mother in law.
If I wanted a custom one I'd go to Davie_SV armed with a block of ally and a load of ale! Turns out you can know how to operate a CNC machine without being a complete c*nt! Who'd have thought it!

But did they all go to mr yokes? Sure BP didn't

Dunno. Must be someone else that sells them. Anyway, too much money.
can you not just weld some plate into the webbing of the S one then drill it?

Keep it as an S then !
noooooooo!
Time to get missYC a garage/house of her own, so she can park her bike without falling over :)
Then after that its a slippery slope, cause whatever house it is, it will have spare rooms, which in turn get filled with babies:smt082
noooooooo!

I too had the comfort conversion kit on my sv and it was ace, cannot fault the quality, top notch, customer services on the other hand ;)
I sold my kit minus brake lines, bar ends and longer cables for £100.

Looking well.
I'm being drawn to a TSM style naked, seeing mines in a similar state of pieces.
Is that a montesa tracker hiding in the background YC?
yorkie_chris

Not tracker, twinshock trials, cota 349.

Looking good hun, i'm going to be so giddy when I get off this island and home :D
Will this one be cleaned?

Will this one be cleaned?
that would depend on how loosely you consider the term "clean"... clean as in it'll be going out in the rain a lot? ;)

Would it not have been easier just to buy a naked one? I have considered converting mine. I have an LSL handlebar conversion, but the problems with the clocks etc make it not feasible.

YC this may be of interest to you (unless you've bought most of it already :p)

You want to find me a K1 with 6000 miles for £500? :)

Fair point Chris. Nether seem to find bargains like that! I would have been tempted to sell that on and get a cheap naked one.

Meet my new beautiful steed-to-be, a Y reg Yellow S Curvy. She's lurrrvely :D Oh and note her already impeccable taste in music :-D

Got her for a bargain too (which is lucky as I am now officially skint!). Didn't expect to get one so quickly so very happy.
She is to be converted into a naked (lucky I know a man who can eh? ;-) ) MY choice as although I love the look of her faired, I don't like the feel of it plus less stuff to damage should I drop her, less space to take up in the garage (which currently has 5 bikes and a mountain bike in it) and easier to move about at the bottom of our rather steep drive.
Tis just a shame I now have to spend a bikeless 2 months dreaming of riding her!
Oh and before I forget HUGE THANKS TO SVSTE ;)
Prolly way too late for this, but dont do it! [-X It's the fairing that makes em look so good! I'm keeping an eye out for lower fairing, someone else posted pics of a a fully faired curvy a while back that induced a Homer style drool.
I'm sure you'll see the error of your ways soon enough.

MissYC is hell bent on having it go naked, but, I'm sure everytime its sat next to my faired yellow curvy......she'll be reminded of her mistake
