View Full Version : What DID chain and sprockets to fit my bike?

Not sure which is the right sprocket in DID range . Seen theres an O ring and X ring . Not sure . What will fit my sv650s 2001 ? Thanks

Why DID?
Sprockets are just sprockets, no O rings on them at all. Get steel ones, preferably JT brand ones.
As for chain, you want 525 chain, 108 links. Personally I think X ring is gimmick and recommend a heavy duty O ring chain.

It works out to about £20 for the Sprockets, based on the list price for the Chain (the chains about £86 on wemoto).
I'm with you on the O ring and X ring being a gimmick, both do the same job wear at a similar rate.

That set would work, also you'll need the washer and probably the nut depending on how badly corroded they are.

VX is not that good. Spend a bit more and get VM or ZVM if you do miles.

Just as a side note with the nut and washer, if it isn't in stock its about 3 days to order in normally
